ST GEORGE’S AMBITION FOR HISTORY LEARNERS
At St George’s School, we will incorporate and go beyond the requirements of the National Curriculum for History; providing a high-quality History education which ensures progressive development of historical concepts, knowledge and skills. Our bespoke curriculum will help pupils gain a coherent knowledge and understanding of the past in Portland, Britain and the wider world.
We will INSPIRE all pupils to develop a curiosity and fascination about History. This will give them a greater knowledge and understanding about the past and better prepare them for the future.
