ST. GEORGE'S AMBITION FOR COMPUTING LEARNERS

“Computers themselves, and software yet to be developed, will revolutionise the way we learn”

Steve Jobs – Founder of Apple

Computing is an ever-changing aspect in the lives of everyone. Through teaching Computing, we inspire children to participate in a world where work and leisure activities are increasingly transformed by technology. We provide learning experiences for children to develop their knowledge and skills to find, explore, analyse, exchange and present information in an effective way. The children will skillfully use and access digital programs, software and equipment. Effective use of equipment will complement the basic skills and use of technology required in order to help with everyday life while enhancing their learning. Developing excellent computing knowledge is a major factor in enabling children to be confident, creative and independent learners. Our approach ensures that each child believes they can be successful working with a variety of computer-based programs and hardware. Their achievement is demonstrated through successful work and high-quality presentations.
